It has been a few years now since my last Japanese class. Since then, I have had kids and my job keeps me really busy. We bought a few children’s books in Japanese and since it is written in hiragana, I thought I could at least read that to my children before they go to sleep. Sadly, I only recognized a few characters. I used to know them all. I guess it is time to break out the old flash cards and start studying again on my way to work.
Several people have told me they have unique ways of learning a language. What methods have you used that have been successful?
